No way to get to the dish to wipe the snow off the LNB. My neighbors own the upstairs patio, and I have a feeling they’d get suspicous of someone climing up their wall in the late evening to fix his dish. The vast majority of my channels are now de-watchable until the snow melts. The spot beam<\/a> signals are still pretty strong (Transponder 18 is the Seattle locals). Too bad the simpsons aren’t on for another 20 minutes on FOX. I guess I’ll go post a blog entry while I wait! The funny thing is that I had Primestar\/DirecTV growing up in Eastern Washington<\/a> (near Colville) where we always had a LOT of snow thru the winters. Very rarely would we have an outage on the satellite. Only the worst of the bad thunderstorms would cause a temporary signal loss — but at that time we’d unplug the TV to keep it from getting fried from lightning strikes and power brownouts\/blackouts\/surges.
